STUDY ABROAD
Explore the study abroad experiences that I had the opportunity to complete in high school and throughout college.
BARCELONA, SPAIN
Exchange Program
In the Spring of 2017, I spent three months in Barcelona, Spain, as an exchange student at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. I was the only student from my university there, which allowed me to branch out and immerse myself with the locals and their culture, as well as meet other exchange students from all around the globe. Read my blogs from Barcelona here.
MADRID, SPAIN
International Internship
In the summer of 2017, I spent about three months in Madrid interning for a company called SociosInversores, which is an equity crowdfunding platform. I worked full time and was very immersed in the Madrileño culture, not only working full time in a Spanish environment, but also living with a Spanish host family as well. This program was in partnership with the international education organization, EUSA. Read my blogs from Madrid here.
COCHABAMBA, BOLIVIA
Global Service Learning Project
During spring break of 2017, 12 members of my business organization, Phi Beta Lambda, and myself traveled to Cochabamba, Bolivia. There, we worked on a consulting project for CEOLI, a non-profit organization for children and young adults who have mental and physical disabilities. This project was in coordination with PittBusiness and Amizade, a global service learning nonprofit based in Pittsburgh.
HANNOVERSCH MÃœNDEN, GERMANY
German American Partnership Program
The first time I ever set foot on a plane or left the country was in the summer of 2014 when I traveled to Germany at the age of 17. I lived with a host family in the small village of Hann. Münden for one month, going to school every day with my host sister and experiencing German culture firsthand.
